About Us
Hisham Besheer, PhD
Hisham founded Userade in 2014 after a rich career in industry. With a BS in mechanical engineering from the American University in Cairo and MS and PhD degrees in industrial engineering (human factors and ergonomics), from Texas Tech University, he is a seasoned problem-solver. He has studied, worked, and led global teams in North America, Africa, and Asia.
Marcie Garcia
Marcie is an accomplished strategist and user researcher with over 8 years of experience working in the US and Australia. She's worked with a broad range of clients to develop product, strategy, branding, and award-winning creative with a people-centric approach. Marcie holds a B.S. in Advertising and a Business Foundations Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as an Account Planning Certificate from the Miami Ad School.
Abbey McCoy
Abbey is an Austin, Texas Top 50 Female UX/UI Designer and brings 17 years of experience to Userade. Her experience combines UX research methods, strategy, and design to guide early stage and enterprise companies in the digital product space. Abbey’s consulting and industry experience guides her holistic, end-to-end UX approach to ensure consistency from the research stage to design in order to deliver products that are easy to use and reach mass adoption. Abbey holds a BFA in Communication Design from Texas State University.
Hazel Oldt
Hazel is interning at Userade for the summer of 2022. She is an incoming senior at Stephen F. Austin High School with interests in global studies, world cultures, travel, psychology, and learning more about UX.
Enid Francis
Enid is going into her senior year at Stephen F. Austin High School. She maintains a 4.3 gpa and hopes to attend UT Austin majoring in either design, marketing, or communications. She is interning at Userade for summer 2022 and is eager to continue learning about the UX industry.
